The team participated in the Fall Carnival on Sunday, November 23, hosted by Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). Our SAAC reps, Jamie and Sheree, helped to organize and set-up for the event held in the tennis dome. The event, which benefitted young children in the community, called for the donation of canned foods that were then donated to the Oregon Food Bank.
The softball team setup a face-painting booth. There were all kinds of games and prizes for the kids, including bobbing for apples, pie eating contests, fish tosses, relay races, and putting contests. The event was a blast for all of the kids that attended, and our players had a lot of fun with it.
